Raging Dragons brings this 2000 year old water sport into the modern age, and we aim to give it an explosive new lease of life!

Want to make friends, have fun and stay active? Then come and join give dragon boat racing a go with Raging Dragons! We're more than just a racing team we're a group of great friends of different ages and paddling ability who train hard and play hard together!

As well as training and attending race events all over the country throughout the season, we also go out for team dinners, celebrate birthdays, and put our many other talents to the test. Recent outings include top golf, bowling, karaoke, pizza making (and flour throwing).

We were fortunate enough to help mark history when we took part in the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Pageant in 2012, where we paddled amongst a procession of 1000 boats along a 7.5 mile course on the Thames. In the same year we also appeared on Gok Wan's four-part TV series 'Gok cooks Chinese'.

Having a good time is the team ethos. Getting fit, making history and winning races are just the perks...

"Dragon boating is a competitive sport that hinges on team spirit and coordination. See with your eyes. Listen with your ears. Paddle with your heart. Fight fatigue to emerge champions."
